Trypsin

Trypsin can recognize the site of lysine or arginine in proteins, and cleave the lysine or arginine residues at the carboxyl ends. Recombinant trypsin in Morebio is expressed by Pichia pastoris and produced under GMP regulation. Our expression system is free of any animal-derived components and free from animal virus contamination.

The activity of trypsin is inhibited by serine protease inhibitors (PMSF, TLCK, benzamidine, soybean trypsin inhibitor, ovomucoid) and metal ion chelating agents (EDTA). Our recombinant trypsin activity reaches the internationally accepted activity of USP, and is superior to competitors’ products with high storage stability.
